Power Energy Generation Systems
Hello, I'm Dave Graham and I'm an enthusiat of going green and saving money
With the push to find alternative energy sources, it is hard to believe that we already have people that generate all of their power from backyard energy sources. Power energy generation is easy on an individual basis with the use of solar panels, solar heaters and wind generation equipment. There are commercial systems available for sale, but many of the ingenious homeowners that understand power energy generation have made their own wind and solar energy systems using items you can easily find in salvage yards and hardware shops, for less than a few hundred dollars.
Power energy generation can be easily accomplished in most locations. Of course, for solar power and solar panels, you need to have at least ten hours of solar panel exposure to store enough energy for most average homes, whether you build the solar panel system or purchase it and have it professionally installed. In wind generation, it is recommended that a windmill is placed where it will receive winds with a minimum of 8 miles per hour and more is preferred for optimal power energy generation.
In most parts of the country, both of these scenarios are accomplished quite easily, although there are certain areas it would be difficult to achieve both. Even Alaska could use wind power for power energy generation, although solar would be more difficult for over half of the year.
Both systems generate the power and it is relayed and converted to power that can be stored in a battery bank that are the same type of batteries that power most automobiles. Conversion can be a little more complicated, but if you have power energy generation, through solar panels or wind blade turbines, you can convert the power to usable household current. It is stored continually in the battery banks and converted into usable power that is generated when you flip on a light switch or turn on an appliance.
This is a simplified explanation, but for most homeowners, it is important to understand it is a simple process. As long as you have the conditions, such as a roof that receives over ten hours of sun without shade, you are capable of homemade energy and your own power energy generation. If you live in a windy area, and have an open area capable of accommodating a wind turbine with several feet for blade circumference, then you are capable of generating your own wind power.
Most people don't realize how simple and affordable it is to start saving hundreds of dollars on their utility bills by spending a few hundred on their own power energy generation systems. Many people that are handy and resourceful make their own systems for a couple hundred dollars. On the Internet, you can find a full range of systems that run between a few hundred that look very professional and work very well, to a total home solar or wind generation system that might run over $10,000 installed.
The great thing about homemade power energy generation is that you can recoup your initial costs in a short amount of time and these systems can add to the resale value of your home. There are utility company rebates and tax incentives to make conversions. Power energy generation is easy for the average homeowner to accomplish.
